Sow Your ‘Halaman’ and ‘Health Goals’ at Ayala Land’s Plant Fair and Farmers’ Market

It’s been months since we were mixing our coffee cups for Dalgona coffee and rolling our heads over Sushi Bake, but a recent addition to the ‘things to do at home’ list will have you foraging for green living things. This craze has totally taken over households by storm and gave birth to the terms plantito and plantita (the fur parents version of the plant world), with everyone posting stories about their recent garden haul or some even growing their own produce at home.

It’s been months since this craze started but guess what — your plantito/plantita dreams are far from over.

Luckily, we have picked two safe, refreshing, and healthy shopping destinations in Quezon City worth visiting this December (and definitely in time for Christmas!) that will surely bring smiles to all the plantitos and plantitas out there. The best part? You’re contributing to the buy local movement since you buy produce straight from the source – from our farmers, and from small and medium-sized enterprises!

“Halaman” goals

What’s the next step after finding pegs for your indoor garden? Of course, buying them! If you’re looking for decent and reasonably priced plants, then The Landscape Escape Gardening and Plant Fair hosted by Ayala Land’s Cloverleaf estate is for you! The Landscape Escape is a week-long gardening and plant fair that features local landscape merchants where you can find gardening essentials to start your plantito/plantita journey. You can choose from unique indoor and outdoor plants, clay pots, plant and floral arrangements and other gardening tools and supplies.

Visit the Cloverleaf Estate from December 3 to 7 from 9:00 am-6:00 pm, and check out the open area across Ayala Malls Cloverleaf to find the plant of your dreams!

Note: You can also catch the Landscape Escape at Vertis North from December 10 to 14, 9am to 6pm

“Health” goals

If you’re looking for something other than plants and planning to buy fresh produce and local products, then the Farmers Market at Vertis North is definitely for you!

The Farmers Market is a month-long program that aims to support our local farmers by providing them venues and platforms to bring their fresh produce and products directly to the consumers in the metro. Likewise, residents are also given the opportunity for a refreshing, safe, healthy and convenient way to shop for fresh produce and local products!

Aside from the gardening and plant fair, the market can provide you access to fresh produce and a variety of local products per week – ranging from greens, fruits, healthy delicacies, and even handicrafts.

These destinations are both within Ayala Land’s estates in Quezon City, so they’re accessible as they can be! Whether using your personal car or booking a ride, just enter the estate of your choice and you’ll definitely be there in no time. The fairs also observe and follow social distancing guidelines set by the IATF, so make sure to do your part and put on your face mask and face shields when visiting.

It’s never too late to sow your ‘halaman’ and ‘health’ goals! Visit Cloverleaf and Vertis North soon!
